Halloween ATC"s

These are some Halloween ATC"s I made for a swap over on twopeas. I had a lot of fun making them. This was actually my first time making ATC's . We were required to use canvas...that stuff is awesome!!

Here is the traditional one:

I misted it with some brown tinted water and dropped some alcohol inks on it and the ink just spread around. I crumpled the pieces up and rubbed them between my fingers to make the ink bleed a little more You don't have much time to play with alcohol ink, so I was moving like lightning! I stamped the cat with Memento ink and embellished it some more.

This is the vintage inspired one:

I inked the whole thing with orange and black and more black around the edges, then embellished it with different odd and ends. I got these awesome brads from my Betty, adriansmom! So cute!!

Friends 'Til Christmas Part II

I got elf mail today!!! I am so stinkin' happy I am bouncin' from the ceiling to the floor to the wall and back around again!! Look what my awesome elf sent me!!

Here's my adorably wrapped box!! I'm so glad it was fabric!! It's cute and I didn't feel bad opening it! I have a thing about opening gifts, I like to save the paper!! The pink and green jingle bells! So me!!!

Look at this!!! It's a house shaped chipboard album!!! You know why? Because we just moved into our house!!! Well it's a townhouse, but it's a big one, lol!! How thoughtful is it of my elf to send me this? Thank you elfie!! I will definitely be using this to chronicle the "lost moving truck key" incident.

Check out these clearbags!! I have been wanting these for the longest!! You know to be official with my crafts and things!! No more ziplocks for me!!!

Look at the ice stickles!! I've never seen this kind before, but let me tell you, I am in love!!! I mean positively swooning over these. The colors are gorgeous and I can see so many projects in the future. My stickle well is dry no more :-)

Betty Swap 6 goodies from adriansmom!!

Look at all of the yummy things I got from my Betty!! The Betty swaps are hosted by Queen Betty Marla over on Two Peas in a Bucket. She is an awesome hostess and the swap is super duper cool. This one was Halloween themed and I love me some Halloween!! Check out these goodies!!

She made me this apron with her own hands!!! I love it!!! I am really tempted to wear it year round...it is my first apron, LOL.

Love this mini colander!! It's so cute!! And the spices! Yum!! I can't wait to use these in the kitchen!!

So when I got my box, I ran upstairs to open it because there wasn't anywhere to do so downstairs. So my bed was the best place!! I saw these and ran them downstairs to put on my oven! Aren't they cute?! Love them!! And they were officially my first decorations in this new place! How fitting is it that my first decorations are Halloween?! Love it!!!

She totally spoiled me, right?!! Thank you so much!!

Friends 'Til Christmas

I joined an awesome swap over on the Cricut Messageboard. It's a partner swap where you are assigned a secret elf who sends you items from your wish list. I have a wisher who I'm "elfing" for and I've got and elf! Well this is my first gift from her and oh my it is gorgeous!!! I am so in love with everything she got me! And upon further investigation of the beautiful ornament...I see that she has long blonde hair...hmm! Who could she be?? Here's some photos of my goodies!!

September Happy Mail

I participate in a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) swap over on the Cricut Message board where you basically get a secret pal for the month and you grant some of her craft related wishes, and your secret pal grants some of yours. It's called Happy Mail! Let me tell you, I had a happy mailbox today!! I'm getting into stamping and coloring with Copics.
